Atelier A architectes was created in Carouge in February 2020. The studio was born from a strong complementarity between Sarrah Meille and Emmanuel Charpié during their collaboration in the office brodbeck roulet architectes associés sa on several awarded tenders and various large-scale projects.

After 25 years of collaboration, 10 of which as a managing partner, several motivations and the desire for a new challenge prompted Emmanuel Charpié to embark on this new adventure. With his many years of experience in the field of architecture and construction, Emmanuel Charpié has acquired a professional experience that allows him to respond to all the demands and requirements of our partners. 

Sarrah Meille is an architect and interior designer with 6 years of experience, including 3 years with brodbeck roulet architectes associés sa. She quickly progressed in the field, and today she offers innovative architecture and design whose unique philosophy lies in the respect of the values of our partners, and the quality of the projects
By opting for a compact scale, Atelier A architectes has chosen to favour intimate work processes based on values that are dear to them. The scale of the office allows for a permanent dialogue, with the aim of offering exemplary services, resulting from the complementary skills of each individual. A close-knit team enables us to successfully complete all current and future projects.

The office brings together all the skills required for the various stages of the design, planning and implementation of an architectural project.Thus, we favour sustainable working relationships and are committed to providing quality services.

Our new team, made up of motivated collaborators who are passionate about the profession of architect, provides the clients with all the energy they need to successfully complete the projects entrusted to them, in order to give total satisfaction to those who place their trust in us.

Architecture and design

Over the years, the office's employees have acquired a great deal of experience in the construction of commercial buildings (watch factories, schools, clinics, shops, railway stations, vocational training buildings, banks and insurance companies, administrative areas), as well as in the construction and renovation of residential buildings and individual housing.

The key word in these achievements has always been the perfect mastery of the three essential elements in the study and realization of a project:
- Strict cost control during all phases of construction
- Implementation of a detailed schedule, respected throughout the process
- Guaranteed construction quality for the implementation of rational and durable details, with regular quality control during the construction phase.

Interior design

The office has a team specialised in interior design, developing interior design projects for administrative areas, shops and restaurants. The office assists the project owner in defining the layout programmes, the activity distribution plans, the choice of finishing materials and the furniture. The project owner is also assisted in drawing up calls for tender and searching for partners.

Feasibility study

Study of the building potential of a plot of land located in zones 1 to 5, craft or industrial, allowing to reach a feasible project in compliance with the law on constructions L 5 05, and the regulation of application of the law on constructions L 5 05.01, with summary costing of the construction

Elevation projects: Feasibility study of the elevation of one or more buildings, in accordance with the plan of the Department of the Territory, defining the buildings likely to be elevated. Study of the size and projection of potential dwellings, with summary costing of the work.

Our extensive experience in the construction industry allows us to carry out expert appraisals of buildings or to analyse and find solutions to defects found after the completion of buildings.

Sustainable commitment

Sustainable development is also at the centre of our thinking and is an important element in our approach. Local materials are favoured in the choices offered to our customers. We favour recycled materials when their quality is equivalent or superior to standard market materials. We also favour short delivery routes.
